  • Affords opportunities for all students to develop a high level of literacy and numeracy required for success in the wider curriculum and in adult life.

  • Expands students' perspectives through a range of spiritual, moral, social and cultural responsibilities to promote their sense of moral and social responsibility.

  • Ensure that all students are able to thrive and develop as healthy individuals and good citizens. It fosters resilience that supports students to overcome challenges and cope with difficult choices.

  • Ensures that all students are safe and promotes discussion to ensure all students understand how to stay safe.

  • A broad and balanced curriculum offering GCSE and GCSE-equivalent qualifications in; English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry. Biology, Citizenship, Religious Education, Sociology, Geography and Modern Foreign Languages (MFL).

  • Functional Skills qualifications in English, Maths and Information Technology

  • Additional Literacy and Numeracy, English as a second language(ESOL) programmes for all students to improve achievement.
